Taihan Leads Community Support in Dangjin by Joining the ‘Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign’

Taihan participated in the launching ceremony of the ‘Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign’ held at Dangjin City Hall on December 2, donating KRW 10 million to the cause. This contribution is designed to promote a culture of sharing and provide essential aid to underprivileged groups in the local community.
The ‘Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign,’ organized annually by Dangjin City, the Dangjin Welfare Foundation, and the Community Chest of Korea is a fundraising initiative aiming to spread compassion to neighbors in need. The campaign will run intensively for two months until January 31, 2026. The funds and goods collected will support crisis households requiring emergency aid, elderly individuals living alone, and people with disabilities, focusing on care services and livelihood stability.
“We are consistently carrying out social contribution activities targeting various groups—including the elderly, children, and the disabled—to realize the value of mutual growth with the local community,” said an official from Taihan. “We remain committed to continuing diverse initiatives to extend a helping hand to more neighbors in the future.”
Meanwhile, Taihan, together with the Hoban Group, is actively engaging in various community service activities in Dangjin, home to its key production hubs, including its cable plant and submarine cable factory. In March, the company participated in a tree-planting event hosted by Dangjin City, and in September, employees volunteered to harvest sweet potatoes to support local farmers. Additionally, Taihan delivers warmth to the community through comprehensive social contribution programs such as the ‘One Company, One Coast’ cleanup campaign, endangered species protection, educational support for children, and volunteer work for local farms.
