Received $1.0 Billion Export Award
Taihan Electric Wire Received $1.0 Billion Export Tower Award at the 44th annual Trade Day ceremony, held on November 30, 2007. TEC made another triumph followed by $700 Million Export Award in 2005 that represents 22% growth yearly on export, which came as a result of outstanding performance in export sales throughout hardly visible competitions around the world.
Since 1970s, TEC puts its full weight behind the efforts of accomplishing turnkey-base EHV business domestically and globally. With its exertion, TEC has been proving its competitiveness receiving massive orders from Asia and Middle East that are main markets and from developed countries like U.S. and Australia as well.
In addition to the honorable export award, Mr. Choi Young Hoon, the chief manager of extra high voltage cable factory, received Prime Minister Honors in recognition of his contribution to export business of extra high voltage cables by facility investments and technology developments.
