Fireproof Cable (TFR-8)
공유하기Fireproof cables refer to fire prevention cables to minimize damage to life and property in the event of a fire. As various industrial facilities are becoming advanced, larger in scale and going underground, such as high-rise buildings and factories, the demand and importance of TFR-8 are gradually increasing to secure fire evacuation time.
- Types and Uses

- TFR-8 : Used for emergency power and operation circuits of firefighting equipment such as indoor fire hydrants, sprinklers, and smoke exhaust facilities
- NFR-8 : This cable has the same performance as TFR-8. It minimizes casualties by suppressing toxic gas and smoke, especially in case of underground multi-use facility fires

- High heat resistance (830°/120min) to ensure stable power supply even at high temperatures in the event of a fire.

Specifications -
- Configuration : The conductor has a fireproof layer on top, and is insulated with XLPE. The fire-resistance reinforcing layer is sheathed with high flame-retardant PVC or low-toxic flame-retardant polyolefin. (Fire-resistance at 830℃ for 120 minutes)
- Applicable specification : KS C IEC 60502-1 (Taihan's standard specification)
