Taihan Secures $65 Million Power Grid Project in KuwaitTaihan has reaffirmed its competitive edge in the Middle East market by securing a major project in Kuwait. The contract for the EHV Power Grid Turnkey Project, commissioned by the Kuwait MEW(Ministry of Electricity and Water & Renewable Energy), was awarded to the company for $65 million. This significant undertaking involves the construction of an underground power grid connecting existing substations in Kuwait City, the country's capital. The project aims to respond to the city’s increased power demand as smoothly as possible. It will be carried out in a turnkey manner, with Taihan responsible for all phases, including the supply of 300kV grade EHV cables and accessories, power grid design, installation, connection, and testing. Relying on its long-accumulated Middle Eastern network and technical prowess, Taihan is committed to securing more contracts in the future.

Taihan exceeded winning an annual cumulative order of USD 300 million by winning a new order​As T.E. USA, the U.S. corporation of Taihan, won an additional order worth about USD 24 million, Taihan won an annual cumulative order of USD 300 million in North America. Winning an annual cumulative order of USD 300 million is the highest record since entering the U.S. market in the early 2000s, and Taihan has already exceeded the annual order amount of last year (USD 240 million). The order won by Taihan this time is a 230kV Extra-high voltage underground power line project that is linked to a large-scale solar power plant to be built in the eastern desert of California. In March 2022, Taihan won the project to connect a large offshore wind farm on the eastern coast with the power system. Including these two projects, Taihan won new and renewable energy infrastructure projects worth about USD 80 million this year alone. Taihan expects that these achievements will play a positive role in the continued expansion of winning orders in the U.S. 

TAIHAN with a great march of orders since the beginning of the year TAIHAN ELECTRIC CABLE, with the entry of this year, has overcome 100 million dollars in extra high voltage cable orders in one month. TAIHAN announced, last 23th that the project of underground cables in the Doha region in Saudi Arabia, ordered by the East Energy Authority (SEC-EOA) with a length of 73km and the project of construction of the underground transmission line through extra high voltage cable in the Jeddah region, ordered by the West Energy Authority (SEC-WOA) with a length of  78km had been accomplished. ​In the construction of the underground transmission line through extra high voltage cable in the Doha Region in Saudi Arabia, TAIHAN plans to deliver 380kV grade extra high voltage cables as well as the materials needed for a total of a 73km stretch and hold the construction site. Besides, the construction of the transmission lines in the Jeddah region achieved additionally is a great scale construction with a total of an 87km stretch which needs 24 months to finish the construction.  ​The responsible at TAIHAN quoted "Middle east countries, between them Saudi Arabia, are trying to replace the energy facilities and develop a high capacity energy net, therefore the high performance high voltage cable orders are on the rise, and as TAIHAN  is keeping a good pace since the last year, the forecast for this year is very positive"
