Taihan Cable & Solutions held an event to celebrate its certification as a major power grid supplier by Public Service Electric & Gas Company (PSEG), one of the largest electricity companies in the US. As the largest energy company in the state of New Jersey, PSEG has supplied electricity and gas to the state for 120 years.
Taihan signed a long-term deal with PSEG in June this year to supply power cables for up to seven years and is shipping new products to New Jersey. The certification ceremony not only recognized Taihan as a major supplier to the state’s power grid under the long-term contract, but also authorized the company to continuously take part in various projects there going forward.
The event was attended by New Jersey Governor Philip Murphy, who was leading an East Asia economic mission from Choose NJ, the New Jersey government’s official investment promotion agency. The delegation toured South Korea and Japan.
