On February 2, 2023, Taihan announced that it had secured two consecutive projects in January for the construction of Extra-high voltage power grids in Germany. The client is TenneT, a leading Transmission System Operator (TSO) operating power transmission networks in both Germany and the Netherlands. The total contract value is approximately Around 52.8 million USD.
Both projects aim to establish 380kV Extra-high voltage power grids to cater to Germany's expanding power demand. The 380kV voltage level is the highest among Germany's underground AC power grids and, given its importance, its power grid stability is ensured through meticulous technology and quality evaluations conducted during the contractor selection process.
This recent deal signifies Taihan's entry into the German 380kV Extra-high voltage power grid market.
