Full-scale start-up of optical cable business
After being acquired by Hoban Group, Taihan chose the optical cable business as its first investment. To enable mass production within the first half of next year, Taihan plans to build optical cable production plants in Dangjin, Chungcheongnam-do, Korea, and Kuwait, and place an order for facilities.
Taihan Kuwait, Kuwait's only optical cable production corporation, is also speeding up the construction of facilities. The plant site is already secured in Kuwait City's Mina Abdullah Industrial Complex, and Taihan plans to start plant construction and rapidly order facilities within the third quarter in order to release prototypes in the first half of next year.
