Kuwait’s First Optical Cable Plant
Located southeast of Kuwait City, Taihan Kuwait was established through a joint venture with the local company Rank. With the implementation of Kuwait’s long-term national development plan, “New Kuwait 2035,” the demand for optical fiber cables is increasing. Leveraging over 50 years of trust and networks built through cable supply across the Middle East, Taihan Kuwait is poised to dominate the local optical fiber cable market while expanding into neighboring Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The company continuously develops products and technologies tailored to local customer needs, further strengthening its market position.
Taihan Kuwait has achieved localized production by establishing its own manufacturing infrastructure in Kuwait, a country that previously imported all optical cables. We aim to proactively respond to rising demand and establish ourselves as the regional hub for optical cable production, extending beyond Kuwait into the wider Middle East.
