Taihan was enlisted in DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability Index) on October 20.
The DJSI Korea 2009 was launched by Dow Jones, KPC (Korea Productivity Center) and SAM (Sustainable Asset Management). It comprises the leading companies in terms of sustainability management in Korea.
Components were selected according to a systematic corporate sustainability assessment that identifies the sustainability leaders in each of the industry groups. In 2009, it captured the top 20 %( 41 companies) based on long-term economic, environmental and social criteria out of largest 200 companies in South Korea.
Admitted to the DJSI Korea 2009, Taihan is expected to receive positive responses from investors with growing SRI (socially responsible investment) in the global market. Taihan will make efforts to promote its transparent management, sound corporate governance and financial structure as a member of the DJSI Korea.
