The Company’s 54th Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting was held on March 27th, 2009 at the post tower, Myungdong, Seoul. At this meeting chaired by Mr. Lim Chong-Wook, CEO, 6 agendas including appointment of director, approval of 2008 financial statements, dividend and amendment of Articles of Association were reviewed and duly resolved as proposed. According to the resolution at the meeting, Mr. Lim Chong-Wook, Vice Chairman and Mr. Kim Young-Min were reappointed for a consecutive term. Mr. Kim Chang-in was appointed a new director, Mr. Yu Jung-yeoul and Jo Dong-Seok as an outside director will take their position at the Board meeting.
TAIHAN recorded 2,444 billion Korean Won in sales (approx. US$1.8 billion) and 82 billion Korean Won in operating profit in the year of 2008. Mr. Lim said in greetings “We will concentrate our core competence and ability on development and consolidation of our main cable business to be a global top leader in near future." |
